Motor Shaft Manufacturing

Manufactured high-precision motor shafts for a major steel plant in eastern India. This project involved manufacturing of 45 units of custom motor shafts for 200 HP induction motors used in rolling mill applications.
The shafts were manufactured from EN24 alloy steel with strict quality control at every stage. Each shaft required precise step turning, bearing seat machining with k6 tolerance, keyway cutting for coupling mounting, and thread cutting for shaft end retention.

Quality Highlights:
All shafts passed dimensional inspection with 100% quality check. Bearing seats were within k6 tolerance range, concentricity was maintained within 0.02 mm, and surface finish of 0.8 Ra was achieved on all critical surfaces. The project was completed and delivered on schedule, meeting the client's urgent maintenance shutdown timeline.
